Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to manage the marketing dept for Flag Outlet. Looking for motived, self-starter, this is a hands-on role that wears many hats. You will be the go-to person for several marketing initiatives and projects. This role is perfect for someone who is self-directed and is passionate about marketing. From implementing and executing successful marketing and social media campaigns, to managing digital marketing campaigns, your work will be varied and highly valued.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business
  • 3 years’ experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills – ability to write blogs, emails and curate a range of online content.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce software, an asset
  • Experience with database systems like HubSpot, Act, Mailchimp and/or Hootsuite an asset
  • A valid driver’s license an asset
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and social media
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis on In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  • Shopify, BigCommerce, and/or NetSuite experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and oversee our three websites
  • Develop print and digital ads
  • Monitor SEO, SEM, Google & Social Media analytics KPIs.
  • Develop social media strategies and execution, to engage our audience on social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Forums, etc.)
  • Develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.
  • Lead and contribute to brainstorms and new opportunities to strengthen and grow a successful future for future launches and ongoing campaigns.
  • Create and manage email campaigns to customers regarding product warranties, promos and coupons
  • Ensure all communications are in line with brand identity, guidelines, tone and strategy.
  • Develop social media calendar
  • Other Duties as assigned
